Yum yum YUM! I've been waiting to try this place and I waited too long! Their food is so delicious!!! I really appreciated the staff and how friendly and knowledgeable they were. From the hostess to the bar tenders, everything went smoothly. The bao were amazing, noodles delectable and the fried rice was perfect! Definitely don't wait, go NOW!

Great dumplings, that are very tasty. Ambiance is very nice and elegant. A bit noisy, though. Service was great. Make sure you make a reservation since wait times can be long. But it's worth it.

I cannot recommend enough, the pork soup dumplings are to die for, the braised beef noodle soup is delicious, and the stir fry noodles are big chewy savory heaven. Come hungry and bring friends.

Questions & Answers

Not that I am aware of. Traditional dumplings are made with wheat flour and many of their dishes contain soy sauce which is also wheat-based. They do have poached or wokked vegetables, pork chops, chicken and beef soups, and poached chicken dishes. Just tell your server that you want no soy sauce or oyster sauce.

Din Tai Fung is not a dim sum spot, it is a dumpling house. You won't receive the small plate/dish as they serve at dim sum locations.

They have outdoor dining with prior reservations

Yes, they do use it in the soy sauce and some items they marinate they items with. I'd say keep away unfortunately.

Depends on the day, but my recommendation is to always expect a minimum of a half hour wait time

Solo or with friends. Solo, I can spend $15~$50 depending on how greedy I'm feeling... ? ? I think I posted photos of the menu. It's definitely a must do. Make sure you get the soup filled dumplings. It's unique and really fun. And it's a Taiwanese specialty... Please chi the thumbs up if this helped you so I know! ??

It was originated in Taiwan!
